1. Who we are
Kynex Solutions (SMC-Pvt) Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a Single Member Private Limited Company registered in Pakistan, with offices at Office 104, Bakhtawar Arcade, Asgar Mal Road (near Hafeez Bakery), Rawalpindi, Punjab. We operate kynexsolutions.com and the KynexEdu, Kynex POS and KynexAI products.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact information — name, email, phone number, company/school name — when you fill our contact form or sign up for a product.
- Account information — username, hashed password, role.
- Billing information — billing address, tax / CNIC number when invoicing. Card numbers go to Stripe / EasyPaisa / JazzCash; we never store them.
- Application data — student records, sales data, inventory and similar data you enter into KynexEdu, Kynex POS or other products.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, clicks, approximate location, device and browser information.
- Cookies — we use essential and analytics cookies. See section 6.
- Logs — IP address, timestamps, user agent for security and abuse prevention.
3. How we use your information
- To provide and improve our products and services.
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
- To send transactional emails (invoices, password resets, security notices).
- To detect, prevent and address technical issues, fraud and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations under Pakistani and applicable foreign law.
4. Information sharing
We never sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Service providers we use to run the business — cloud hosting, payment processors, email and SMS delivery — under data-processing agreements.
- Law enforcement when required by law.
- A buyer in the event of a business merger or acquisition (you will be notified).
5. Data security
Daily encrypted backups, TLS-only transport, hashed passwords, role-based access controls, audit logs, secure data centers, employee NDAs and a documented incident-response plan. No system is 100% secure, but we hold ourselves to the standard of "if it were our own data, would we be comfortable?"
6. Cookies and tracking
We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We use a minimal privacy-respecting analytics product for traffic measurement; we do not use Facebook Pixel or third-party advertising trackers on this site.
7. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After cancellation, we retain customer data for 90 days (in case of accidental cancellation), then delete it. Some financial records are retained for 7 years to comply with Pakistani tax law.
8. Your rights
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Export your data in CSV / SQL / Excel — at any time, free of charge.
- Opt out of marketing emails (transactional emails will continue while you are a customer).

9. Children
KynexEdu may store data about students under 16. This is done on behalf of the school under a Data Processing Agreement. We do not market to children or collect children's data directly.
10. International transfers
Your data is primarily stored in data centers in Europe (Hostinger / Cloudflare). For customers outside Pakistan, transfers happen under standard contractual clauses.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version.
