1. Overview

We want you to be happy with what you buy from us. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.

2. Subscription services (KynexEdu, Kynex POS, KynexAI)

  • Monthly plans: You can cancel at any time and you will not be billed for the following month. Pro-rata refunds are not provided on monthly plans, but you keep access until the end of the paid period.
  • Annual plans: 14-day refund window from the date of first payment, minus any setup fees or migration work already performed. After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable, but you can downgrade to monthly at renewal.
  • Free trials: No charge during the trial. If you do not subscribe, your data is deleted 30 days after the trial ends.

3. Setup fees

Setup fees cover migration, training and configuration work performed by our team. They are refundable on a pro-rata basis only if work has not yet started. Once migration begins, setup fees are non-refundable.

4. Custom development projects

For custom development projects, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis:

  • If the project has not started, you may receive a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
  • If work has begun, refunds are prorated based on completed work. Any code or designs produced up to the refund point are delivered to you.
  • If we materially fail to deliver against the agreed scope, you receive a full refund of unspent fees and we forfeit any retained payment.

5. How to request a refund

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject "Refund request — [your invoice number]".
  2. Include your account email, the product or project, and the reason for the request.
  3. We will respond within 3 business days, typically faster.
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days via the original payment method.

6. Exceptions

The following are not refundable:

  • Excessive usage beyond your plan's limits.
  • Charges from third-party providers (SMS gateways, WhatsApp Business API, etc.) passed through at cost.
  • Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us — these will be disputed.
